Movement for every body.
I’ve been teaching movement for over 21 years, and I still think of the body as a kind of living puzzle—one that’s best approached with curiosity, science, and play. I’m certified in Pilates through the Kane School of Core Integration in New York City, and I hold a B.A. in Dance. I also trained in Gyrotonic® under master trainer Chantal Deeble. My approach weaves together biomechanics and functional movement, but make it fun.
I specialize in working with hypermobility and EDS, back pain, injury recovery, neuromuscular conditions, pregnancy and postpartum, as well as dancers and athletes. I hold multiple certifications in special populations and have worked with movers ages 12 to 94—each with their own goals, history, and nervous system. Whether you’re just beginning or deep into your movement journey, I’ll meet you exactly where you are.
With roots dating back to WWI, Pilates is known to improve posture, breath, alignment, coordination and to reprogram maladaptive movement patterns that can lead to pain and dysfunction. It quietly benefits most systems of the body—from circulatory and lymphatic to digestive and neurological.
My sessions are grounded in clinical knowledge but never feel clinical. I aim to create a space that’s thoughtful, encouraging, and fully personalized. Movement should feel good—it should leave you more connected, more capable, and more at home in your body. My goal is to help you move well and move often, and to leave equipped with the autonomy to continue the work at home.
